In August 2024, Edith Cowan University, Australia, successfully hosted the C2C-CTF as a virtual event.
The competition participants are growing every year, with the 2024 event having 328 registered students, from universities across 36 countries.
Student participation from the most represented countries was in descending order: India (114), Australia (44), USA (32), Israel (27), Japan (19), Indonesia (16), Sri Lanka (16), UK (11).
The competition results are the following:
1st place: fr0sty_sat0shi: Nandu Pillai, Joel O’Brien, Samuel Lock, Yuichiro Koga, Christos Falas
2nd place: Nah I’d Win: Noah Cooper, Bill Elim, Yichen Chai, Penelope Om, Jake Ludlow
3rd place: revheavy: Josiah Stearns, Itay Beladev, Ellis Trisk-Grove, Jeremy Karagania, Maanas Kompalli
The awarded prizes in USD were:
1st placed team: $3000 ($600 per team member)
2nd placed team: $2000 ($400 per team member)
3rd placed team: $1250 ($250 per team member)
